Former Football Kenya Federation President Sam Nyamweya has urged the current football administration led by NicK Mwendwa to account for the millions of money advanced to them by government and stop blaming sports Principal Secretary Kirimi Kaberia.

He said money given to FKF is public money that must be accounted and no amount of chest-thumping and noise making will spare them from any blame.

He termed a social media story written by a one Cleophas Ochino titled ‘Sabotage Harambee Stars & Stalets” as rubbish and unfounded.

The writer had claimed Nyamweya had hatched a plot to sabotage national football teams in cahoot with PS  Kaberia .

Contacted for comment, Nyamweya termed the story as rubbish saying in the first place, he has never met or talked with Kaberia for the last one year.

“If they are drown, they should look for something else to cling on. I have no time to read such rubbish,” Nyamweya said.

“In the first place, I have never met Kaberia or talked with him for almost a year or so. The PS is right in demanding for Nick Mwendwa administration to account for the money advanced to them by the  Government.

“They should stop accusing Kaberia since he is doing his official work and stop bringing petty sideshows.”
